Through this gathering, we create sacred space and allow the healing of our hearts, minds, bodies, and spirits.  Working with the crystal bowls and everyone who participates in the sound circle is an honor.  We come together to honor each other, to send prayer through the vibration and intention, and to remember that we are One, we are Light, we are Love.

Genetrix is a magical meeting of performance and healing.  The combination of crystal bowl vibrations and vocal harmonies creates a resonance that fills the body with light, taking both performer and audience on a transformational sound adventure.
Each and every Genetrix gathering is a chance for me to explore the magic of sound in ways I never thought possible. The loving spirit at the core of each member is allowed to shine so brightly within the boundaries and boundlessness of the circle. To be able to contribute my voice and energy to the project is truly a blessing.

In India's mystic tradition we say that the entire universe emerges from shabda brahma, the primordial sound. In the Vedas, this sound is known as the great Goddess, called Vak, which is another word for speech. The womb, the void, is the pure potentiality from which emerges the utterance that births creation. "In the beginning was the word." Genetrix feels to me to be a play of this primordial vibration around the great void that emanates it. We vibrate the bowls, we open our mouths, we run our awareness around each others' hearts and souls to make the vibration, and from this provocation unleash the creatix of love's dance.

Luke
It's a holy experiment: we gather, we chat, then we settle down and meditate, then begin breathing practices, call and response chanting and then add drones and explore our voices within and without words. It's been very liberating to develop a space where there is a direction, a phrase our an exercise but how we feel our way through the framework is completely unrestrained, we just vibe and riff and let anything emerge. We build a chamber with our intentions; we really create a space and play with it.

The journey has opened my minds eye for the beauty of collective positive intention and the power of sound. Every rehearsal is a true joy. The warm energy that is created within each gathering completely  transform my inner being with peace. It has been a blessed journey with the creation of Genetrix.

The Genetrix project is one of the most spiritually exhilarating happenings of my life.  The vibrations of the bowls and other people around penetrate through me and make me feel more alive.
